Waste collection, spoil, materials: these vehicles work under load, in short cycles, on difficult terrain. They are not long-haul trucks, and they are not repaired like them — the fault almost always comes from the circuit, not from the component that gave out.
A tipper that struggles, lowers by itself or refuses to tilt is nine times out of ten a matter of pressure, fluid, a valve, a worn hose or the power take-off — not the ram. We work through the chain in order: fluid condition and cleanliness, actual pressure under load, control valve, safety valves, return line and cooling.
Replacing the ram without treating the cause means buying the same breakdown again next year, and paying for it twice.
Bent sideboards, warped tailgate, perforated floor, fatigued side rails, worn pivot point: on a collection vehicle, the structure takes as much punishment as the circuit. We weld, reinforce and restore dimensions in the same workshop as the commercial vehicle bodywork, without moving the vehicle between three contractors.
A worn pivot point shows when raising, not when stationary: the inspection is done with the body raised, safely.
Hydraulic arms, hooks, gantries, container locking systems: these components combine hydraulics, mechanics and safety. A lock that no longer locks is not an inconvenience, it is a container that can come off. These items cannot be put off, and we say so when that is the case.
Truck-mounted cranes fitted to the same carrier are covered on the truck-mounted crane repair page.
On a collection round, an immobilised vehicle is replaced by a day-hire rental, when one is available. That is why we quote from the first visit, order parts before removal, and make progress viewable online via repair tracking.
The workshop is in Le Blanc-Mesnil, in Seine-Saint-Denis, a few minutes from the A1, the A3 and the Francilienne. The tippers, hook-lifts, lifting arms and gantries we work on come from the 93, Val-d'Oise, northern Paris, the Roissy area and Seine-et-Marne.
Collection, public works, recycling, rental: these are trades where the tipper works every day. We plan fleets ahead so that downtime falls at the least costly moment for your operation.
Yes, mechanics, hydraulics and structure included: rams, control valves, hoses, power take-off, body, sideboards and pivot points.
It is a safety issue, not an inconvenience: it comes from a valve, an internal leak or a control valve, and the vehicle must not work in that condition. The inspection is done with the body raised and propped.
Yes. Detailed quote with parts and labour separated, approval requested before work, and an invoice strictly in line with the accepted quote.
Yes, including container locking systems and the associated safety components.
