Emissions warning light on, loss of power, limp mode ? We first find out why the filter is clogging, then we clean it. A regenerated DPF without treating the cause clogs again, and ends up failing : we treat the cause, not just the filter.

LNVI workshop · Le Blanc-Mesnil (93)The particulate filter traps soot from the engine and burns it off during regenerations. When it clogs, it is almost always a sign of a problem upstream: a fouled EGR valve, a leaking injector, an intake that doesn't breathe properly, or urban use that never gives the filter time to regenerate.
We read the fault codes, we compare the soot load calculated and measured by the control unit, and we measure the filter's differential pressure. The diagnosis tells us whether to clean, repair upstream, or both.
You receive the diagnosis with the quote. Nothing is committed without your approval.

The same procedure for every vehicle, traced in its file. Each step appears on the quote.
Codes read, soot level, differential pressure of the filter measured before treatment.
Checking the EGR valve, the intake, the injectors and the AdBlue and SCR system.
DPF removal, back-flush washing with dedicated products, rinsing, then complete drying before refitting.
Cleaning of the EGR valve and its ducts, every time: it is one of the leading causes of fouling.
Refitting, clearing codes, DPF reset and controlled regeneration, new pressure reading.
Dynamic road test in real conditions, then oil and oil filter change.
What we see arriving at the workshop after a visit elsewhere, and what our method prevents.
A clogged filter that is forced to burn overheats and cracks. Cleaning always comes before regeneration.
If the EGR valve or an injector is not dealt with, the new filter clogs just like the old one.
Some vans have an additive-type DPF. Without it, soot no longer burns at the normal temperature.
Repeated or interrupted regenerations dilute diesel into the engine oil. That is why the oil change is part of our service.
An AdBlue fault does more than light up a warning. The control unit reduces power, limits speed, and on some models starts a countdown before blocking restart. A whole delivery round can stop because of a simple sensor.
AdBlue is a 32.5 % urea solution, injected into the exhaust to destroy nitrogen oxides in the SCR catalyst. The system monitors everything: the level, the quality of the fluid, the pump pressure, the flow of the dosing injector and the result measured by the NOx sensors.
The most frequent fault is not electronic: it is urea crystals. They block the dosing injector and the exhaust line, often after short journeys or poor-quality fluid. Next come the pump and its filter, the tank heating (AdBlue freezes at −11 °C) and the NOx sensors.
Replacing the sensor indicated by the fault code is almost never enough. The NOx sensor notes a poor result; it does not say why. We look for the cause before ordering a part.
Countdown, causes ranked by frequency, step-by-step measurement method : all the details are on our page AdBlue fault on trucks and vans.
A diluted fluid, stored in the sun or contaminated with diesel damages the pump and the injector. At the slightest doubt, we drain the tank before repairing.
The light goes out, the cause remains. The fault comes back a few days later, often at the worst moment.
It is the most expensive part in the circuit, and rarely the culprit. Crystals and dosing are checked first.
From the sensor to the filter, we work on the entire system, on trucks and vans alike.
Diagnosis, back-flush cleaning, controlled regeneration, replacement if necessary.
Cleaning of the valve and ducts, checking and replacement of the EGR cooler.
System diagnosis, sensors, dosing and emissions faults.
Air flow meter, air leaks, turbo: everything that lets the engine breathe.
Checking injectors and leak-off returns: a leaking injector fouls the filter.
Differential pressure sensor, temperature probes, NOx sensors of the SCR system.
Our Le Blanc-Mesnil workshop welcomes trucks and vans from all over the north-east of the Paris region, close to Roissy CDG. Do you manage a fleet ? One file per vehicle, the quote before work, online progress with #TrackYourTruck, the report and photos by e-mail.
An engine or DPF warning light, a loss of power, limp mode or increasingly frequent regenerations are the usual signs. Only a diagnosis can confirm it: codes read, soot level and differential pressure of the filter.
In most cases a full clean is enough, provided the upstream cause is dealt with. Replacement is only proposed if the filter is cracked or if cleaning does not restore its permeability.
Because the cause was not treated: fouled EGR valve, leaking injector, faulty intake or urban use with no chance to regenerate. That is why we clean the EGR and its ducts at every intervention.
Yes. Iveco Daily, Mercedes Sprinter, Renault Master, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper, Fiat Ducato, Ford Transit: urban vans are among those most exposed to filter clogging.
Yes. Each step appears on the quote: removal and refitting, washing, regeneration, EGR cleaning, test. You know exactly what is done on your vehicle.
Call the workshop without waiting for the countdown to end. As long as the engine starts, the vehicle can come by road; once it is blocked, it has to be towed. We read the fault on arrival and tell you what is at issue before any repair.
Because clearing repairs nothing. A dosing injector clogged with crystals, a worn pump or poor-quality fluid bring back the same fault. The diagnosis traces the cause.
Yes. The principle is the same on a van and on a truck: fluid, pump, dosing injector, catalyst and sensors. We work on both.
Give us the plate and the symptom. We will tell you when the vehicle can come in and what we are going to measure.
We have been working with this garage for years and there has never been the slightest problem. Very professional team, top notch!
Hugues K.A team at your service. Quality work in record time. Deadlines are always perfectly met.
Pascal M.Exactly the kind of partner we needed. The service is very fast and lives up to our requirements.
